Yesterday while I was doing my Japanese homework in my sister's room, my sister came and sat next to me. It was quite chilly that morning so she had her jacket on. I noticed some white spots on the jacket and I then I ask her "Is that bird droppings?" and immediately a bird flew into my sister's room, through her door. Apparently the bird flew into my house from another window haha.
I was the one who notice it and screamed "AHH BIRD!!"
The bird was banging against the window really hard obviously it's trying to get out but doesn't know that its a closed window. And then some choc-chip look alike object(?) and some papaya seed just come falling from the bird.
And I screamed again "AHH NIAO DA BIAN!!" (bird's droppings in Chinese)
No idea why my sister went and hide behind her door haha.
I knew that I had to open the window but I was really worried that it might attack me or throw some poop on me or something. Then I realize..it's probably easier to clean bird droppings compared to the dead body of a bird who died of haemorrhage.
Opened the window and that bird with a bad tummy flew away.

Is that a...?
It's Sunday and I've not fully recovered yet. But that doesn't stop my busy body-ness. I'm a mystery maniac journalism student after all haha. I think I became more paranoid alert after relocating to my new place. Whenever an unknown sound could be heard, I will look outside and try to find out what's going on. Currently, there's only 2 houses here and I believe the security guard will do a good job. But I think it's better to trust myself more than relying on someone else.
Last Thursday night, I heard some car engine sound while I wasbejeweling doing my readings. I peeped out and saw a suspicious looking guy, trying to unlock the padlock that locks the open space behind my house. Basically this open space is being used to store building material for the 3rd house that is currently under construction.
I thought he wanted to steal sand or scrap or anything that's valuable. My sister told me to stop observing that person because he might take out a gun and start shooting at my direction. But I didn't really bother and took a picture of him trying to open the padlock and jotted down his car plate number. It was really dark and the flash from the camera might get his attention so I adjusted the camera's ISO to the max. The picture looks more like a paranormal shot thanks to my shaky hands.
I told my mum about it and she said it might be the 3rd house's owner. Apparently, he did not receive the right letters and documents to build the house, so its currently on hold. He probably came and collect some stuff. Future neighbor or not, I'm so sorry for making you sound like some suspicious criminal and even worse, making you look like a paranormal figure.
And on Friday night, I've learnt a lesson. Never ever drink if you're having a cold and you wanna stay up late. I can hear everyone saying DUH to me. But let me explain first ya?
Last Friday, my dad opened a bottle of Merlot and ask whether I wanna drink or not. So I said ok. Cause this wine is consider dilute for a red wine and I thought that I might recover from the cold that I caught if I drank a little of it. I had a blocked nose so I couldn't really taste anything so instead of drinking small sips, I drank quite a mouthful in one go.
Sick + a mouthful of wine =strength less and couldn't even lift up a finger
My will power was put on a test because I really wanted to stay up and watch my favorite TV show, 1 Night and 2 Days. My week will never be complete if I don't watch that show. And I did it! wheeeee I am so proud of myself haha.
And Happy White Day! Any chocolates for me?

The Curious Incident of the....?
Yesterday while I was happily checking my twitter, my sister suddenly called for me. "Hurry! Come and see! Something brown just walk passed my room's window!" So I peep out of her window and I saw something. Immediately "jiken da!" (It's a case) came into my mind. Sorry..I've been watching too much Aibou and Hidari me Tantei lately.
So I quickly go to my room, open my window for a better view and...

It's the Heung Peah (fragrant biscuit?) my sister bought from Penang during the weekend. And I've not tasted any of it yet!! An hour ago, it was still safe, sitting on the kitchen's Island waiting for us to eat it.

Crime Scene: The food container's lid and a Heung Peah on the ground

A closer view of the crime scene.

There were some banana stains on the ground as well
"It's a Monkey!" I told my parents but they weren't very convinced at first. They were suspecting a cat or something cuter. But cat's paws are just not meant to open food containers or a talisman that grants wishes.

VS

My sister on the other hand thinks that it's an evil plan plotted by the monkey and it's best cat friend.
Too bad the CCTV was not switched on at that time. I would have caught it red handed and call it a case close.

Bouken rider?
I made a trip to KL yesterday! Not to eat or shop but to accompany my sister for her job interview. Around noon, we hope into the LRT (Light Rail Transit) with a ticket to Masjid Jamek, which I think is the richest place in Malaysia literally. Ok, not really rich as in rich people hang out there but that place definitely have some good Fengshui for banks. Almost every big banks in Malaysia's HQ are located there.
Masjid Jamek or in English, the Jamek Mosque is one of the oldest mosque in KL. But, I don't remember seeing any mosque around.. only sky scrappers. Maybe it's located at the other side hmmm..
Talking about sides.. I wanted to take photographs on the LRT, but my sister chose to sit at the other side which faces the rail tracks for LRTs coming from the opposite direction and there was quite a crowd in the LRT, so I couldn't navigate around freely too.
This is not my first time visiting Masjid Jamek, but it's my first time exploring that area. Like I misat area are mainly white-collar worker, all dressed up formally which makes me look really casual haha. There were a couple of lost looking tourist there. I wanted to help them, but I'm pretty clueless about KL myself heh.
I was suppose to wait for my sister a cafe outside of OCBC bank but I didn't want to sit down and do nothing so I wandered around alone for an hour.I have no sense of direction so I just kept walking the same street again and again with my camera.

When is my train coming?

This is Wisma Lee Rubber which looks really contemporary

And exactly behind it, you can find buildings which are more history flavored.

Bank Muamalat..I think? Not very sure

A Vespa spotted somewhere near McD's

This McD guy keep swinging the flag with some 'Ole Ole Ole' audio playing. I think its to promote the McDonalds's Value Meal. And there's a dance school advert.. which I think no one will bother to stop and take a look of it

I'm only the lonely

I'm not sure what is their job.. definitely not police. Maybe they're the one who issues summons to illegal car parkers.
For more pictures, or a clearer view, feel free to check out my flickr HERE
And lastly, let me end with a picture and a silly episode of "Rene used to be really silly"

See those round ball looking thing? I used to think that someone threw his basketball so high that it landed there.
