Sense of Sight pt3

Yay! Sense of Sight is back. If you're wondering what is SoS about, it's an entry that I'll post a series of pictures that is totally unrelated to each other. Basically, it's about what I do or saw lately.

1. Onion skin looking moth

This moth is definitely one of the longest lasting moth I ever seen in my house. I f not mistaken, it 'stayed' here for about a week. Maybe it's because of the onion-ish texture? Usually the powdery looking moth will only last a couple of days here. What do you guys think about moths? Some said they're the spirits of the dead. But... I don't know haha

2. Wrong number

I think that I sound really unconvincing when I say "Sorry, wrong number." The less dramatic reaction I receive from the caller is "WHO IS THIS?" "WHERE IS THIS PLACE??" and the more dramatic one
"DON'T BLUFF! I know its you, Mandy!"
"Sorry, you got the wrong number, I'm not Mandy."
"Don't be like that la, where's Julie? Why didn't she call me?"
"......"
Although I don't like to talk, I absolutely have no reason to fake or hide my identity.

3. Dragon Fruit

This is my grandma's favorite fruit because it is fibrous and expensive It cost about RM10 for 3 of it. Quite expensive for a fruit. I like the bright purple color of it but it can be quite a trouble in washing it off.

It took me at least 4 washes to wash it off completely. Next time, Use a fork instead.

4. New Born

Every morning, a bird will fly out from a plant next to my house door and it never fails to make me scream out of shock. Then I realize this mummy bird has build a nest in that plant. Eggs hatched and the baby birds now looks like that *points picture above* Looks kinda scary without the fur but I'm sure soon, they'll be able to fly.

5. A Yakult a day keeps the doctor away

I'm not sure how much does Yakult contributes to good health. But I drink this everyday, thinking that I'll be healthy after drinking this. Sounds in denial eh? But the truth is university have been draining out my energy and I've been falling sick more than usual. Mummy thinks that I should start taking supplements because my once red cheeks are very pale now. Any suggestion for what kind of hamster feces looking supplements should I take?

6. Lomo

This is my lomo camera. I wanted to get the Diana F+ initially but I decided not to spend so much on something that I'm not sure of. I have absolutely no idea how will the photos look like. I've just send my film to the photo shop last night and it will only be ready by Saturday. If it turns out ok, you'll probably have SoS part 4 very soon.

Sense of Sight pt2

I mentioned about meggings some weeks ago and today, I finally took a pic of it. It's not the same yellow one I saw previously though.

It's from Crocodile, 1Utama

1.Hitler spotted in Jusco's Home Center?

Mr. XL, the mascot of a DIY hardware shop was vandalized with a touch of Hitler. Different kind of hand pose though

2.A Magazine for DV man?

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this magazine is 'Domestic Violence Man'. Haha it's actually a Scandinavian fashion magazine. not some tips on whacking people effectively haha

3. Cleanly blonde

Looks like Mr.Broom is catching up on the blonde trend! Not bad at all I bought that broom

4. Khun wannabe?

Hmm.. I don't get the wink. He's probably trying to 'say' that the griller's really convenient and easy to use? But looks more like 'too much smoke enter my eyes' to me.

-----------------------------------------
Code Blue season2 officially kick started my Winter 2010 drama 'trip'

You know how usually the first episode is a little boring because of the character introduction and stuff.. the first episode for Code Blue was actually really really good! Duh! it's a season 2,no introduction needed The cool characters like Aizawa and Saejima are still very cool and the annoying characters are still very annoying, but its ok. There won't be any conflict if everyone behaves the same. I am already anticipating next episode! I think it's really different from other medical drama and nope, I'm not Pi bias haha maybe a little? I didn't really like his hairstyle during the countdown concert, but now, I think it suits him very much haha There's also a new flight doctor to replace Kuroda sensei who was previously amputated by Aizawa. The new doctor, Tachibana sensei reminded me of Detective Mac Taylor of CSI NY. Seriously! Even my sis thinks so too. Did some wiki and found out that he's actually the bakery owner in Takki's Antique.

Season 1 was really good and I hope season2 will be even better. Looking forward to more doctor action!

Sense of Sight

Sighting #1 : 2 hummers in one week
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I saw 2 Hummers on the road in a week time. The first time was on last Saturday while I crossing the overhead bridge. The 2nd one was spotted on Monday around when I was on my way to One Utama. I guess they're probably the same Hummer. I know it's just a big, squarish, luxurious expensive car. But how often do you see a Hummer on road? I see that everyday on Sorrority Life Moreover in Malaysia where cars are dominated by Myvis.

Sighting #2: An emo needs 3 friends to cheer her up
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Recently, these Giordano Cheer U Up t-shirts are so popular that everywhere you go, you'll see people wearing it. I used to think it's kinda cute, but now, I think it's over rated. The other day, I was at Tropicana City Mall with my sister for lunch. I saw a bunch of middle school girls(?), 4 of them actually. 3 out of 4 girls wore this Cheer U Up t-shirt. And guess what the other girl wore? A t-shirt with the word EMO. In a nut shell, it takes 3 people to cheer an Emo up. In case you're wondering, the person in the picture is Jang Dong Gun.

Sighting #3: Meggings
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Before I go on, let me explain what are meggings. Meggings are actually leggings for men. According to Japan Probe, leggings for men (”meggings”) are this year’s hit fashion item for Japanese men in their 20’s and 30’s. The other day when I was at One Utama, I walked passed Crocodile and guess what I saw? Yellow Meggings?? I wanted to check it out but I was in a hurry..maybe next time. It's not something new in other countries but it's definitely fresh in Malaysia. I believe Tsuyoshi wore it during his ENDLICHERI days? So whats your verdict on Meggings? For me, I think it's acceptable. At least better than a certain footballer's Tight Trunks and Pink Flowers. But who am I to judge? As long as they're confident in what they wear, they can wear whatever they want. And I'll secretly laugh at them

Sighting #4 : Cool Cat Corner
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
This morning, while I was laying my breakfast on the dining table, I saw this black/grey thing moving outside of my house. I look at it again, but it's not there anymore. So, I thought it was my hair. The moment I turn and look at the tv hall's direction, I saw a stray cat sitting on my favorite scatter cushion!! Must be one smart cat..for picking the best cushion haha. I bet it has eaten lots of fish that contributes to it's grey matter. This cat is not one of the four cats behind my house. This is the 'front' cat that never fails to give me endless shock story that next time. I was so stunned and shocked and let out a scream and did the cat ran away? No, it walked out snobbishly slowly as if it's the King of the world.
