Yesterday was...

Yesterday was the last day of the semester. I'm not sure how I did this semester. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to maintain my distinction streak for my Journalism subjects. It seems that my lecturer dint really like my style..AHHH

Exams coming right up soon! And after exams, I'll give The Rene Report a face lift and starts planing for some upcoming project! So please look forward to it. =)

Yesterday was also ossan Azusa's birthday!

Of all the Japanese I meet, she's the most approachable one. It's very easy to talk to her. Maybe its because we're always singing the same tune? I think it's because we usually speaks in English haha.
Anyway, I know I'm annoying and yet you played along with my boke-ness, especially my "boku wa ii ko" gag and me suddenly singing Kamen Butoukai. Hope that you had fun in Malaysia and have a great time in Aussie ya? Am anticipating for November/December to come. Fingers and toes crossed for my Kansai trip this Winter!

Yesterday was also my parent's Silver Jubilee wedding anniversary. Unlike any other years, we had a simple Korean meal this time. Every time I eat Korean food, I can't help but wonder. Japan and Korea are neighbors, why is their food so distinct from each other. Korean cuisine are heavier and stronger in taste while the Japanese have a lighter flavor.

Inspired by the Domoto Bros' Korean trip, I pick a menu that resembles the food they ate in Korea last spring. Besides barbecue, we had this spicy squid thing which was really good and sam gye tang (Ginseng chicken soup)

Yesterday was so tiring that I only woke up at 9:10am this morning. Jumped off the bed like some ninja master and realized that I really should revise for my upcoming PR paper. Sigh.

Yesterday, a janitor knock my leg with the floor polisher!!! My sister and I think that he did that on propose cause he was initially cleaning the other side and when we walk pass, he came over with the machine and bang me and he did not apologize. Seriously, whats your problem? My legs are really clean and I don't need extra polishing.

I did not look back and glare at him after the 'bang' cause if he did that on purpose, I wanna show him that 'Oh no, it didn't hit me' pride problem and I was too shock to say anything. It's like your waiting for the next train and some random guy just come and punch you.

Actually, it was really really painful. I couldn't walk and had to limp for a couple of minutes. I almost cried but had to hold back haha. I didn't dare to look at my leg cause I was expecting something bloody but thank God nothing serious happened, just a couple of peeled skin.

One more reason to not like Sunway Pyramid =(

Today, I went to The Curve. My main aim was to check/fix my hard disk and to have lunch in IKEA. Sis and I wore high heels at first but brought our flip flops along in the car. When we reach there, we decided to opt for the latter instead. We are lazy people

They had a Santa boat, lots of fishes there and umm thats all? I wonder who came up with the idea. Should have put a Santa in a swim suit or something like that right?(suggested by sis)

Haha guess who made it into the November's issue of どりあんなび (Durian Navi) magazine? It feels even better when you have a copy delivered to your house.

Actually.. it was just a tiny picture of my sister and I actually the entire Japanese class was featured in Nishio sensei's (My Japanese teacher)column. It was about her mum and friend's trip to Malaysia. One of the main attraction of the trip is to visit our class haha.

And..the magazine was delivered to my house because I subscribe to it. Haha Why am I excited over a small fry. Makes me look attention seeking only. I'll make a scan of it later

Hmm I don't know whats wrong with my nose today. For a sec, I can smell grass. Then, pond and the next sec, I smell cat poop.

I just came back from dinner at Sushi Tei @ Tropicana Mall. The food there's not bad! Especially the Mentai Salmon sushi. A really really generous portion of mentai on the salmon! Double or maybe triple of Sushi Zanmai! Their phoenix roll was really good too! A huge pieces of unagi, prawn and avocado! Avocado's been playing quite a huge role on fusion sushi nowadays. I like! <3

Ah.. back to burying my head into the pile of assignments after playing for a day.

It's week 11 of the semester already! 2 weeks more to go and then final exam. Haha I realize that I don't really blog about my uni life huh? My favorite place of Monash got to be the Journalism Lab cause of the Macs there. And thanks to it, I have a chance to learn how to use a Mac! And people are asking for help from me when they don't know how to operate a Mac proud Besides that, I also like this open area with tables and chairs situated behind the book shop. I'm not sure what is it called..but I usually refer to it as Sandwich Bar cause it looks like a good place to eat sandwich. I usually hangs out with Emily, who shares the same birthday as me!! and Jessica who coincidentally enrolled in the same classes as me in every classes~ I can't wait for my semester break and we'll go for a trip.. Baggan Lalang! heee

I'm so sleepy *yawns*. Oh ya~~ the Samantha Thavasa bags that I ordered finally arrived! heee I'm happy happy and finally I can sleep in peace without worrying about it

Buzz Buzz Buzzer Beat

AHH..it's been 3 days since I've updated. Don't you guys miss me? Anyway.. I've been having some internet issue the past few days. And it turned out to be the extension cord's problem. Chehhhh.. I could have reached my 1000th tweet 2 days ago.. But it's alright. Thanks to the internet hiatus, I manage to finish watching my long awaited and anticipated drama, Buzzer Beat! Will blog more about it some other time ya

Last Saturday was Mid Autumn Festival. A belated Mid Autumn Festival to everyone out there! This year was a little different for me. My relatives came together and we had steamboat in my uncle's house. Went to the field with my nephews after meal. I wanted to take more pictures but the flash was a killer to the eyes! So I took some slow shutter shots.. which will be uploaded next time. It's still in the camera.

On Sunday, the lappie manage to detach some wireless nearby. The signal was so faint and weak that it can only get connected for like 2 minutes and it's so hard to detach it again. But I was so lucky cause I manage to send out 2 or was it 3 tweets. I'm a twitter slave! and one of them is to J. I tweet to J everyday I'm such a dedicated fan haha. If only KinKi Kids or Pi has twitter too.

I got back my communication and psychology assignment this morning and I did really badly for my Comm assignment. It's really annoying when people who did not work hard for it gets better grade then me! Jeez. My uni friend Emily, shared the same fate as me too. We got the same marks for both assignment.. and we both share the same birthday too haha.. Seriously.. My lecturer should have gave us back our assignments earlier so I know what should I work on for my 2nd assignment. My 2nd assignment weights 40% of my course you knowwww.

This morning, I woke up with a very weird yet realistic dream. In fact, I've been having related dreams for 3 days already. You know, people often say that dreams are the reverse of reality? From my personal experience, I think so too. I won't story about it cause it will be very long. Anyway, I'm hoping that the opposite theory works this time too. If not, a whole lotta people will feel very sad. Even I woke up feeling a little blue and it's Tuesday. The day that I like least in the entire week.
